Individual Therapy

This may be the time to talk with someone for individual support to learn how to better manage stress and difficult feelings you might be experiencing at this time. I have many years of experience treating anxiety, depression and interpersonal issues and use evidence-based practices. I also focus on skill building, resiliency work, self-compassion and acceptance to work through problematic situations and finding solutions. Through therapeutic support, we can identify and work towards goals to improve your quality of life while enhancing your personal strengths.

Couples Therapy

Couples work is a useful and sometimes one of the last attempts to addressing relationship issues. Every couple has experienced disconnection, betrayal and hurt feelings as a result of their partners actions. Commonly couples seek support at a critical time of their relationship to either learn how to rebuild and work through emotional injuries, or to begin the process of uncoupling-that is learning how to separate amicably. I strive to support each couple as they learn how to better relate with each other and find a new relationship style. My focus is on helping couples find their strengths and capacity to recover from problems while also fostering intimacy, communication, trust and individuality.

Sex Therapy

My sex therapy practice focuses on sex positivity, sex affirming and acceptance of all genders and sexual orientations. I’ve worked with individuals and couples to improve intimacy, communication and sexual functioning difficulties. My hope is to help you find new ways to experience pleasure and enjoyment, promote happiness and the feeling of being alive while also strengthening your sexual voice. I welcome diversity and support LGBTQIA and gender fluid identities, and truly believe that every person has the capacity to be their own sex experts. The session space will offer you a place to share your sexual feelings, desires and wishes and to process sexual traumas and barriers that have gotten in the way of sexual enjoyment and expression. Sexual health is not automatically learned but takes patience, practice, sex education, support and the acceptance that YOU ARE deserving of healthy and pleasurable sex.
